last( and second)canada update

yoza evrybody, the nz freepadleers crew are curently stàying in de city of Montrell at the flat of four french canadians boh boh we have internet and a roof over our heads for the first time in a month and half. The last time we posted we were at wilderness tours supping wine with royalty, having our nails trimmed and living life in luxury, but for the last month we have been riding the highways of america with one
Chech-Republican, one Britishman, two canadians, two slovachians and
three rowdy kiwis, the van has been very sweaty and stinking very badly. our shuttle driver for this trip was the world famous Harry Cox(you could guess his nick-name), canadian team manager and retired chemical engineer he has kept the team aware that crazy kayakers are nothing on crazy bearded, prankster, freewheeling, 55 year old canadians. The three events went well, the bottom line is sam came in overall 3rd for juinor men in the world cup and nik and sean came in 11th equal. if you want to see full results for the each event they are easy to see at www.wcfkc.com

here are some photos of the tour.... the pic above is from earlier in the trip when we tried to make it to lachine in a car with a detached axel( this foto was taken on the side of the road where we stoped out of fright that the wheels would come off and we would go under a truck)

the second foto is of nik caning down a big set of stairs at the put in for the new river gorge.

sean gets glad wrapped at rock-island..

we found rotorua in america!!

some beautifull paddling locations( Rock Island, Tennasee)

i cant tell you how many nights we spent under the stars, illegally, on the side of the highway, poached land, we slept where we felt like.
nik goes big at the lachine rapids( montreall)( big clean blunt ya schnedel)

6 weeks, 3 kiwis, 8 rivers, 60 hours on the road, 40 hours in the air, 6 hours of film, 13 thousand buks, 9 showers (team total),1000 blunts, many a good party, paddle and many good friends, a mission to never forget......

canada update

yoza we are here just chilling in canada is like the sickist place ever hot chicks every where . after 20 hours of flying we finally arived in ottawa only to find our shuttle wouldnt arive for another 12 hours. with a diserted airport it could only mean one thing.
wheel chair wheelies around the empty air port nik and I managed to wheelie the whole airport. well sean sucked the balls.

after we wheeled the shit out of Ottawa it was off to Wilderness tours were for our $20 per day we get all the facilities inc hot tub pools. we also get three meals a day. with breakfast consisiting of cereals fruit and a cooked main corse this morning beeing pancakes sausages and home fries. then after munching on breakfast it is time to jump in the shuttle to go up to the big ass wave called GARBERATOR.

after a couple of hours going big its time for lunch which is hamburgers and hotdogs nice for two days then its shit. after that its back on the rocks or wave to impress the ladies for later on that night when we start to feel lonley.

We meet up with two kiwi lads called Brendan like 2 hump alot and Josh like 2 wank alot(although he says he macs alot DREAMER). These to fuckers have been shreding through the states both in the sack and on the water representing NZ in style going big in two ways.

Any way back to the daily schedule Dinner which is very healthy to keep us profesional atheletes in ripn shape. then its to the hot tub to show off those hot kiwi bodies yummy. Then back to the river for a night session(no not buds) in the lights. after we get all buff its back to WT to hit the pub and take advantage of all those juicy Candian babes.

any way we are having a sick time here and are loving every second of it even those lonly nights. masive party tonight so should be very exciting. keep it real

NZfreepadlers

NZFREEPADLERS

THE NZ FREE PADLERS ARE A GROUP OF H2O LOVING PADLERS
THAT HAVE DISCOVERED THEIR PASSION IN LIFE IN THEIR LATE TEENAGE YEARS.
THE SIX OF THEM ARE CAUGHT BY THE LIFE OF THE UNKOWN, THE LIFE OF TRAVEL AND BEING FREE TO DO WHAT THEY WANT WHEN THEY WANT AND MEETING GREAT FRIENDS ALONG THE WAY.
THE CREW :
SAM SUTTON
Sam is the founder of NZ freepadlers, his passion lies deep in the heart of creek boating and he loves big drops, big volume sticky holes and tight and technical danger. He also gets off on running something first and his favourite boats are his R.A.D.180, S.C.U.D. and the Mystic all designed by
Bliss-stick. He also gets his confidence from his Zippy-Zack paddle and Hydraulics pfd.
Sam's goals in kayaking is to be at least three time world freestyle champion, paddle the Tsangpo gorge and be the best paddler to roam the planet.
STEPHARN GILMORE
Stephan is one year above the rest of us and is currently attending University in New Zealand where he hopes to gain a degree which will let him pull in the money to fund his paddling expiditions. He enjoys being lost and taking the odd hit to the head when on the piss. His goals are to make Kayaking a well known sport with lots of money if your the man.
SEAN GERLACH
Sean is the hard core freestyle freak with his DNA roots tracing back to a very awesome gymnastics mother which gives him the edge over the compition with him being able to pull the worlds best moves as soon as he descovers them. He holds the key to the next generation freestyle world. His normal kayak of choice is the R.A.D.180 by Bliss-stick and Zippy-Zack paddle which also are the key ingredients to take it to the next level. As well as being the freestyle prince he is the man at swimming out of a creekboat with one big swim on the 2/07/06 which nearly saw the end to this talented life.
NIK BOYES
Nik is the crux of crazy, he has straight lined more ski slopes than any one to this day, he has hucked more benches steps and rails than even Jesus. His life is split between the mountain and the river and even though he doesnt paddle as much as some of the crew he is no amiture to a full on grade 5 run or a big wave, he gets off over his Zippy-Zack paddle and his R.A.D. mixed with a bit of female scent. He is undicided were his roots belong and his future is spirilling at the decision whether to chase the snow or the river.
WHATS ON THE HORIZON:
For Sam, Sean and Nik it is off to the world cup on August the 21 2006, we will keep you updated on the tour and post all our latest photos of our trip of both on river and off river and we will look foreward to seeing you at the primear of our film due for release next Febuary.
KEEP IT REAL, RESPECT
